I had bookmarked this when originally posted. Just today got around to listening to a bunch of Swirlies songs on my commutes. Love it. I hadn't heard of them ever. I think my favorite shoegaze bands are Brian Jonestown Massacre and Ride, but I really enjoyed the Lo-Fi elements of the Swirlies. Thanks for sharing!

Me too :) That and Evergreen. And Fingertips. Sadly I don't think Anton plays that stuff anymore. I've seen them about 10 times and never anything from that era.
