“The best way to predict your future is to create it.” — Abraham Lincoln
This post is part of a series. It is meant to be a place for stackers to discuss creative projects they have been working on, or ideas they are aiming to build. Regardless of your project being personal, professional, physical, digital, or even simply an idea to brainstorm together.
If you have any creative projects or ideas that you have been working on or want to eventually work on... This is a place for discussing those, gather initial feedback and feel more energetic on bringing it to the next level.
Thanks @Kontext @justin_shocknet @@k00b @Scoresby or joining and sharing your ideas in the previous edition. How are you all doing with your projects? Any update?

We're working on start9/umbrel distribution for Lightning.Pub #1256611
Now the whole point of Pub is that you can manage it remotely over Nostr from ShockWallet, but that assumes at least looking at the CLI to get the nprofile string to connect the wallet...
These appliances don't expect users to look at the CLI at all, and therefore require a local UI that users can get that string from, at minimum.
Since we have to do that we're also making it a wizard for some first-run customization that would otherwise be set as environment variables
Was hoping to have this published this week, still possible but need to make sure everything is solid and polished before opening the flood gates. Last thing I want is to be doing support for shit that should work and users having a bad experience.

Please make it happen: SN integration with Lightning.video cc @k00b

Man, this is so great, feels like my dreams coming through! I really struggled to install LN.pub via cli on a linux machine, and I had to give up for lack of time.
This will make so easy to set up and connect with Shock wallet for further testing. Even if it is a parallel node running in the same machine, it's a great option for better privacy setup. Are you planning to making it available for other nodes implementations too?

Other nodes like Umbrel? Yea once things are smoothed out with s9 we'll be able to do that pretty quickly since its mostly re-use. Anything else I'm not thinking of?
I would like to get it distributed in some of the mine-at-home / asic as a space-heater rigs, trivial add to have a mining appliance run Lightning and spit out an nprofile.
When did you last try the CLI? If it was the more recent script it'd help me to know where you got stuck.

Did S9 apps are now in docker containers too? Yes I was referring to umbrel, raspibliz, mynode... not sure if they use all the same dockerized approach. It would be nice to see LN.pub alternative there.

Have it installable in home miners would be the top! It would cover an untapped market for sure and provide a bunch of extra nodes to the network. Happy to test that too...

Can't remember exactly, over a month ago or two. I was getting an error, but was probably from the npm dependencies. Tried again now and everything went smooth, LN.pub running sharp, connected the source string to Shockwallet running on localhost and attached noffer and ndebit to SN wallet. It all take probably 21min considering had to restart the linux machine and reinstall install both LN.pub and Shockwallet.

This is really cool. With LN.pub on a bundle node, less knowledgeable users do not have to run a LND or CLN as a public node. Not even link it to a full BTC node because LN.pub works with neutrino peers.
This solution make more sense for those "light" nodes running on RPis. Excellent !

Thanks for sharing this article. Feels being an interesting summary of a much deeper research on the matter.
I noticed you have some interesting books and music out there. I particularly enjoy the album and its cover. What was the idea behind?

Metaprograms: The Blueprint and Tools for Building a Mind . Goal . Soul . Aim
Imagine building a house, which represents your conscious experience, strength, hope, decisions, feelings and opinions; plus reality.
· A building site and the raw lumber for a stick house, stone or glass blocks. It's tangible, this mind stuff that you have to work with.
· Metaprograms (The Invisible Framework): Metaprograms are not the house itself, nor the materials. They are the architect's blueprint and the builder's essential tools.
· The blueprint (the pattern) determines the house's fundamental layout: Is it a sprawling single-story ranch or a multi-level tower focused on a pinnacle view ? Are the rooms open-plan (Global) or a series of defined, specialized chambers (Specific)?
· The tools (the process) determines who, what, when, where, why and/or how the house is being built: Does the builder use a fast, powerful nail gun (Proactive) or carefully measure and hand-drill each screw (Reactive)? Do they work from the foundation up (Procedure) or assemble pre-fabricated walls (Options)?
Applying the Metaphor:
· Gratitude is the carpenter. This operation takes the raw material and carefully sands, stains, and polishes it, acknowledging the quality of the work and making it a valued part of the final home.
· Curiosity is the architect and surveyor, constantly looking at the land (the domain of knowledge) and asking, "What if we extend this wing? What's underneath this levee or rock? How can we design this to capture more light, flow or waves?" This drives the exploration and expansion of the structure.
· Engagement is the foreman on the site, coordinating with other crews (people in the conversation). These operations ensure the work is collaborative, that communication is clear, and that the project moves forward through active participation.
· Clarification is the inspector with a level and blueprint, constantly checking that the walls are plumb and the wiring is to code (the domain of information). This aspect or condition asks, "Does this align? Is this understood correctly?" Ensure the integrity of the build.
The Coaching Insights are Project Manager's Recommendations:
· "Continue Exploring" means: Keep your architect and surveyor on the payroll; their work is yielding great results.
· "Engage in Discussions" means: Your foreman is effective; make sure he stays on site to coordinate the team.
· "Show Appreciation" means: Your finish carpenter is adding tremendous value; give them more work to do.
· "Seek Clarification" means: Before we pour the foundation, let's have the inspector double-check the measurements to avoid costly mistakes later.
In this way, metaprograms and topological operations are the invisible but essential forces that determine constructs that impact our understanding (perspective) from the raw materials (intuition) of bogus doxxing. They are the style, the method, and the process—the very act of building itself so that anasazi masonry endures for two million years or more.
