Some of this may just be this administration replacing the press people who were favorable to the last administration with the press people who will be favorable to this administration...

But, considering that the Pentagon is not exactly famous for transparency and that it spends a relatively large chuck of US tax dollars, it might be on CE if they didn't act like they were not at all responsible to taxpayers.
