I have been digging up dirt on Luke, the Knots guy. TBH in this case I almost don't see him as the villain, because Jesus is also my lord and savior and I try to read the bible every day.
But, with knots he is high and mighty campaigning that bitcoin shouldn't be polluted with "spam" and yet he did it himself in 2011.
I think he should be allowed to put in his bible verses with hash he has paid for, and if bitcoin users want to pay miners to put other information into the blockchain, they should be allowed too.
So climb off your throne, Luke.

A small verse of text is much different from full sized images

A byte is a byte. The bible is 4 megabytes, could fit it in a single op_return for a fat block.
How many bytes is too many? No dictator, however benevolent, can say.
Only the market can figure this one out.
