I agree 1000% I hated this deal for Buffalo and New York State. That $800M could have been used to revitalize the city.

This is happening as well in CFB market. Took my kids to a SEC game last year and ticket prices were $330 each + $350 for single night in Holiday Inn Express near the game. By the time you add in food, gas, etc its a $2000 price tag to go to a game.
Say back in 1980, I feel there is no way that "bringing the kids to a game" represented such a high percentage of average monthly income as it does now? A $2K "game price" probably represents 30% of average monthly income?
