I was asking a question earlier about hardware wallets and it occurred to me that, obviously globally adoption is not exactly the same rate as AI but in the coming years, there may be a huge demand for hardware wallets.
Up to now companies like Coinkite, Blockstream and the broader mainstream like Ledger and Trezor have the market pretty much to themselves.
I wonder if Apple Samsung execs have looked at the gap in the market for a global hardware handset distributor to steam in and dominate the global supply.
With their supply chain and low manufacturing cost they could wait many years and still undercut smaller businesses, with the negative aspects being non open source probably and potential government back doors.
What do you think?
