Yes I hear what you are saying, but sometimes I still mention it, not as in I have Bitcoin but as in how Bitcoin can fix some of the problems we face- ie the excessive power the banks have in most western liberal democracies and how we can take back some power by using Bitcoin.
Most people have still only heard the MSM FUD and do not understand what Bitcoin really is and can do to bring power back to us, the people.
banks have in most western liberal democracies
Only banks? Not the central planners and the political class?
Only western liberal democracies? Not in Asia? Not in Latin America? Not in Africa?
reply
There is almost no strategic planning in the west!- it is private capital (the bankers) who are in control.
Have you looked at China- their MIXED economy is steamrolling the wests crony capitalism into the dust.
The wests corrupt neoliberalism financialisation has given China the opportunity to challenge and defeat western civilisation.
You Libertarians tragically misunderstand the true nature of economies- they are and always have depended upon the combined strategic planning of government and private enterprise.
China has that combination far closer to the ideal than the west- ipso facto the west is losing its 500 years legacy of global hegemony.
Latin America is still largely subservient to US hegemony.
Africa was fucked over first by western imperialism and is still fragmented and dysfunctional- all its borders were drawn up in Europe with the express purpose of divide and rule.
Africa and the Middle East is however increasingly aligning with Chinese capital.
Most of the infrastructure engineering in Africa and Middle East is now partnerships with Chinese.

I asked quite a simple question, not for your useless verbiage.
Is control of the monetary system by central planners unique to the West?
reply
Woooosh!
You want simple answers to complex matters - then stick to your simplistic Libertarian memes.
BTW your rephrased question completely ignores the issues I have raised, and was not asked in the first instance, and anyway avoids the wider issues that your simplistic approach ignores.
The west has dominated/subjugated all other nations and economies for 500 years. Include that in your reasoning if you can - but you appear to be struggling with that.
I was responding sequentially, in good faith and with reasoning to your post- expanding it- you have not responded in kind.
No point in trying to engage further with a brain dead Libertarian echo chamber...except to expose it for what it is.
reply
I don't care about your issues, I merely asked a simple question that you seem unable to answer but spreading your mindless propaganda. If you have issues you can write your own posts or see a psychiatrist. But did anyone teach you about the basic decency of not hijacking others' posts with your issues?
reply
Your question is not worthy of response because it seeks to obstruct the consideration wider issues I have raised...issues you are desparate to ignore and avoid...but that are relevant and in context to the post you made.
I don't care about your desire to avoid the wider issues...it just sadly demonstrates your inability to engage in good faith debate and so is a waste of time to respond with compliance to such narrative bullying demands and avoidance.
Did anyone teach you how to engage in sequential good faith reasoned debate?
If you make a post and people respond with a widening and exploration of the topic then at least respond in kind rather than seeking to make personal attacks and ridicule the respondent- it just makes you look dogmatic and incapable of a reasoned contest and exploration of ideas.
reply
My question was based on your assertion regarding west. So now you admit you cannot answer it, and continue with your propaganda. And no, I have no intention to engage with another wumao scum, especially one that cannot answer a basic question.
Thanks a lot, I got my answer anyway.
reply
I have answered it but you cannot apparently cope with the complexity of the answer.
It perhaps somewhat challenges some of your preconceptions and assumptions.
That is though a valid outcome for a contest of ideas.
To attempt to explore, widen and deepen the understanding of any topic.
For me all the above are valid reasons and context for discussions about Bitcoin- it's not about how much Bitcoin you or I may hold, but about how Bitcoin provides an alternative to the fiat debt based monetary-banking system that exists to subjugate, exploit, oppress and enslave most of humanity.
