“The flag installations have begun at Steak n Shake,” the company said. “Every Steak n Shake is getting the tallest and biggest American flag that local governments will allow! Steak n Shake proudly supports American values and traditions.”

I don't think it makes much of a difference for Bitcoin adoption.
I do find it interesting that the more so-called "patriotic" wing of American politics is also the one more interested in Bitcoin. My best guess is that the root correlation is a rebellion against the "professional managerial class" that dominates mainstream cultural institutions.

Every company and individual that accepts, spends, or holds bitcoin is a win for bitcoin. Yeah, you can make arguments that there are right ways and wrong ways. There are better ways these things can be executed. We can be annoyed that the red team is adopting it or the blue team is adopting it. To me... its all good when you zoom out.
Know yourself. Know what you value and why. Live that out and don't get caught up with purity tests and measuring everything against your ideal. That's a terrible way to live. I fall into that trap a lot.

I never entered a Steak & Shake until they started accepting bitcoin, but now I think I have a good sense of the vibe from my 5 or 6 visits. Definitely a nostalgia, 1950s American Graffiti feel. In the end I agree. It's all good.

Yeah, we don't have them where I live but I visited them back in the early 2000s. That's totally the vibe. Now they are SMARTLY leaning into the MAGA trend in several areas. They are far from the only one.
It cracks me up how dumb politics can be. How an election is just a discovery mechanism for where people are on many topics. I don't actually think that most people were cool with the direction of the US culture prior to this last election. And yet... it seems that many CEOs and marketing teams were pretty tone deaf for the last 8+ years.

Imagine you work at a steak and shake and through the customers, mopping duty, trash duty and everything else you gotta make time to do, you get a call from your manager "Hey today is (insert remembrance day of thing) can you set the flag to half mast?"
