Ahh yes the good old days of pretending you were a werewolf or a psychic vampire without the existence of a whole online world there, to reaffirm that as actual truth with their forums and wikis full of rules and guides and terms to learn about and fit in, turning a chaotic and playful exploratory maginative journey into joyless, structured, mystery-free bureaucratic peer approval-seeking endeavor
being bored in the real world.
These are experiences that I had, but my kids did not. Not because I didn't want them, and try to help them along, but they really depend a LOT on your area and your neighborhood. And kids nowadays just do NOT do these things anymore.

Scarcity in movies. We had a dozen or two VHS tapes or DVDs. We watched these specific movies over and over and over again. These specific ones for sure did change my character subconsciously.
This does not happen nowadays. Everyone watches everything. Nothing is personal to you anymore.
Yes, my kids hardly ever rewatch a show. There's an infinite poop of new shows to watch.
People might hate this but I loved the sound of dial up and how you could get up and do things while stuff loaded on your computer lol now thats just completely gone
