I like Malik Willis as the Packers backup, but I think he'd probably be a perfect injury replacement for Lamar Jackson. That said, their defense is the epitome of trash and injured as well. So there is so much more wrong then who Jackson's backup is at this point. Given up 41, 17, 38, 37, and 44 so far this season.

Yes the D has been awful and without the Jackson led offense to keep them off the field it just keeps getting worse.

Yes it doesn't make sense to have a pocket passer as the backup.
