I can't argue with the "Bitcoin Standard", but choosing "The Blocksize Wars" as the second book to read about bitcoin is questionable. Don't get me wrong, The Blocksize Wars" is a very well written book. I happen to be reading it again right now. I just think there are more appropriate choices for a beginner. These would include "The Sovereign Individual", "The Price of Tomorrow ", Mastering Bitcoin", "Layered Money", and even "Digital Gold", which is a more comprehensive history of bitcoin.
Oh, and tyvm for reading :D

Yeah, it's been a while since I was a bitcoin beginner, so that might be clouding my judgement. But I think that The Blocksize War is a quintessential book to read if you really want to understand what bitcoin is about. There is a reason why Bcash failed and the mother shitcoin fork succeeded. It is that important to understand who the enemy actually is. I really think it should be the second or third book a bitcoiner should read.

I don't want to nitpick. There is no question "The Blocksize Wars" covers a very important topic, and it was a very well written book. I just don't think a beginner is in the position to appreciate the importance of the block size debate until he or she knows more about bitcoin.
