pull down to refresh

Second week in the Europa League is done. There are already a few things clear for yesterday's results.
Seven teams have won their 2 matches, including Dinamo Zagreb, Midtjylland, Aston Villa, Braga, Lyon, Lille and Porto. @0xbitcoiner's team is giving their fans plenty of happiness at the end of the matches. They have won both at very last minutes, which always leaves you a good feeling. I could not watch it yesterday, though perhaps @0xbitcoiner could give us his impressions. Rodrigo Mora, their rising 18 year-old new star scored the winner.
Nottingham Forest is out of the play-offs positions, though it's early to consider it a problem. Last night, Midtjylland beat them at home 2-3.
Dinamo Zagreb beat 1-3 Maccabi Tel-Aviv away and is at the top of the table, due to better goal difference. French teams, Lille and Lyon, remain strong with 2 wins each. Lille beat Rome 0-1 in the Eternal City. Meanwhile, Lyon scored 2 goals to beat RB Salzburg.
Aston Villa seems to have finally found their pace and they are in 3 in a row straight wins (including the Premier League win last weekend). This time, they beat the Eredivisie leader, Feyenoord, 0-2.
Along with Porto, the other Portuguese team, Braga, won in Scotland to Celtic (2-0).
Finally, Real Betis managed to beat Ludogorets in Bulgaria (0-2). Lo Celso scored a great gol in the first half, after recovering the ball near to the Bulgarian box. At the beginning of the second half , an attack led by the Argentinian again, opened the ball to the left side where Ruibal sent the ball to the opposite side of the box. Junior received the ball, hit it badly but got deflected by a defender and ended in the net. 3 points added and sitting at 7th in the table. In week 3, Real Betis will visit Genk in Belgium.
Europa League will return on October 23rd. I will post a few days earlier a new bounty which will be 3000 sats.

This week has been hard. But this is football, these days you need to play hard every single match as all teams will do their best. Midtjylland's fans should be really proud after beating Nottingham last night, totally unexpected.

I only caught the last 15 minutes, but then I watched a short recap. From what I saw, Porto played well, but Red Star played really well too and gave them some trouble. Porto rested a few players 'cause they’re thinking about Sunday’s big game against their biggest rival, Benfica.

Great! It's so important to be able to rest some players at this time of the year. And most importantly, winning despite starting unusual players. Real Betis also rested some starters, we have a tough match against Espanyol on Sunday.
Good luck for Sunday's match.
