My son still reads a little bit each day. I am glad not that he has a smartphone and tablet and video games etc that he has kept up the habit.

All busy trying to make themselves stand out on TikTok, Instagram and the like.
Though I am honestly impressed with the ingenuity of today’s youths when it comes to making CapCut videos. Been the beneficiary of a few of those - and my students produced stuff that was poles apart from their work in the classroom haha. I think suffice it to say that the digital literacy of youths has improved
