I think it's easy enough to convert CCs to sats by using them, but replacing freebies is a good direction to be thinking.
Airdrops make less sense to me than something like allowing people one free post per day and maybe a free comment every hour. I think zaps on those items should go towards paying off the posting fee before the OP receives any sats.
