What job do they want?
I do think you need someone who's focused on your web presence and engagement. There are several bitcoin businesses on nostr that generate a lot of business by being actively engaged with the community.

Can you please recommend a few? We are trying to ramp-up our marketing and promotion.

I interact most with Oshi and Ben Justman:
If you scroll their profiles, you'll quickly see some other businesses though.
reply
Awesome, thanks - will check them out tonight.

I was going to ask the same question. What role?
reply
Promotional video creator along with video tutorial etc.
reply
That sounds useful. You should make him run the social profiles too, though.
reply
I'm not sure about his social media skills. Will ask when I interview him.
reply
In the same regards, do you know anyone really good who can run our X and nostr account?
reply
No, but you could make a ~jobs posting for it and see if anyone good applies.
reply
I doubt it requires a ton of skill. Mostly just earnest human interaction and genuine appreciation of the product.
reply
Social media managers all over the world were just extremely offended
reply
I can live with that
Yeah I agree, successfully running large twitter accounts in the past - with a positive user engagement metrics is what we might use to gauge him/her.
Not really sure what other skills we might look for, even though past performance is not an indicator of future results.

Yes this is good. Hire him. I am his agent. Tell him he owes me 10%.
reply
lol sure, if grayruby says yes, he's in!
reply
Not bad

Thanks for the feedback. I like the attitude - sending video with job application.
reply
nah, they put a 7 second intro animation that wasted everyone's time
reply
Thanks, what could have he done differently?
reply
Just get to the point. It's like in youtube videos where you can see the timeline spikes where people skip to, everybody skips the intro animations.
The vibes are there, and I think Predyx might love the video because they're already dogfooded in their brand and they love the dogfood. "Preaching to the choir."
But I'm a consumer and I want to know what this Predyx thing is, and the stylized logo and cool music isn't communicating that in any meaningful way.
Mr. Beast talks about this in the podcasts he's been on. The first 3 seconds are the most important, because it's the time where the viewer decides to watch or to click away. That's why he starts of all his biggest videos with him shouting what the video is about.
reply
Got it, thanks for elaborating it. Makes total sense now.
