I do. It doesn't bother me because the gov't already has all that info about me anyway.
What did bother me was that to get my RealID I had to put a lot of information onto a website, id.me, that looked like a third party vendor. I have no idea how secure it is/was, and that made me uncomfortable.

It's a federal check on the states rolls since some states were (are?) issuing ID's willy nilly to "undocumented" persons, the Real ID shows the state issued the ID based on information DHS should already have.
The fact that you got a CA ID with a TX address shows that CA ID's are not serious from a federal perspective, I doubt you'd be able to get a CA Real ID with a TX address.
