Since you have one yourself, did you get the wifi dev board? Wonder if it's worth it or might as well graduate to playing with Kali + some Alfa adapter at that point.

For anyone considering buying one. 

* It is a geeky toy. You can have a lot of fun with it.
* It is a serious security tool. 

Its a great device to get to get you into pentesting. If you decided to do this professionally you will need to buy specialized tools but like many multi-function tools this thing is useful as a first device as well as an educational tool. I have one and haven't regretted getting it. You can install 3rd party firmare on it which unlocks even more functionality.
