Thanks for that but it looks like a lot of work compared to Duckduckgo which I am told does not track me.
Just use a public server that runs searxng for you then, muc better than ddg that tracks you. Try one of those: https://searx.space/

With searxng you can have your own or trust one of the thousands around.
How do you do that? What is 'your server'? Is it a search engine? Or you mean a Windows OS website server as DDG suggests? I do not understand what you mean.
