Crazy idea? import bitcointalk, bitcoin-dev, lightning-dev to SN

What do you guys think? I could take the archives and import them into SN and make them searchable. And IMO because they're on SN, make the UX of consuming them easier. At least for the mailing list, I have a way of "automatically" subscribing to the content.
Just a passing thought I had on my walk this morning.

i think this is a cool idea, and you could even have it a separate section at the top like 'archive'. having them be able to be searchable

Separate section would be great so that they don't spam the front-page. Subscribing to them over email makes it really hard to follow, so a better place that can make the mailing lists more readable would be great for me.

For sure. Could even maybe create accounts for the email addresses, users, from the other sources and keep the posts live on here so that they can get tipped, SN users can discuss. UX around mixing SN posts and these other sources is probably tricky though.

It wouldn’t be stealing in my opinion. Kind of the opposite.
It would just make it more available and easier to read and easier to find. At least this is true in the case of the mailing lists.
