A new pull request which will undo the deprecation of the datacarrier and datacarriersize options in bitcoin core. This is one big critic point which was brought up in the "op_return" drama.
I think it is good to let node runners choose. On the other side, changing the default of these values will have a way bigger impact.
Finally someone saw reason on this, not being able to change that setting was just ridiculous. Props to you, @schmidty!?
