A protocol based entirely on public/private key pairs being used as identities cannot gain traction and adoption if the integrity of those identities cannot be protected and maintained for users.
I guess this means Bitcoin cannot gain traction and adoption.
The price of losing centralised handholding is taking responsibility. Please do and stop whining that everything has to be made easy and safe.
