Bitcoin is peer-to-peer cash. It's always been hostile to spam. This fallacy doesn't apply. Spammers have always tried to infect Bitcoin and they are always chased off to other blockchains, that's why bitcoin is the dominant crypto, because these spammers devalue the chains they adopt.
