Too many 5 laptop computers - all working I assume.

It's good to know that don't have TVs in all rooms like us. It causes chaos so very often when my mother is watching some religious songs and there my brother starts listening to some bollywood number. Haha

I kept an old laptop when I bought a new one recently because I wanted to turn it into another bitcoin node but it’s not working well so I will probably just recycle it soon.

It depends, but if I exclude work stuff and old devices I haven't thrown away or don't really use anymore, it'd leave what I'd consider essential personal things:

  • laptop
  • phone
  • headphones
  • amber reading light
  • yubikeys
  • dedicated bitcoin node
  • modretro chromatic

Because you're professional, didn't you ever feel the need for more than one laptop or a desktop?

I'm not sure for the devs but vloggers do require a lot many more gadgets.

No need for a more powerful computer (coding isn’t too intense) but sometimes a big monitor is nice. I think you’re right that bloggers need more gadgets

reply

Much less.

I own 3 phones, 2 laptops and an e-reader. The only thing I don't consider a tool is the e-reader, that's for entertainment, everything else is only there for productivity.

Sometimes I have 1 or 2 additional "gadgets" for testing/experiments. When I'm done, I give them away to the first person interested, which often takes me about an hour to find.

reply

Woah. That's a lot. I don't count because I keep gadgets to a minimum. Few indeed are the single-use gadgets I have.

reply

Minimum is best when you're not actively filming documentaries and editing on Da Vinci. I too like to have minimum, not long ago I only used to have a single phone, nothing else.

reply

Yeah I would put everyone to shame haha! I used to be a lot worse but now not so much.

For example I still want a Vision Pro! The Meta glasses look interesting! Also I had a pixy through Snapchat which they recalled. I am a huge gadget guy

And bitcoin stuff it’s even worse I own an S9 and a bitaxe all kinds of bitcoin nodes and wallets

reply

Bro 😎! I'll only defeat you in my dreams, but I'm not sure. I don't want the glasses but I'm a fan of headphones, cameras, mobiles.

reply

Hahaha I don’t but like you I have a lot

reply

You believe that's mine? No way. It's a different things for sometime now I aspire to be a director, filming documentaries and then editing them.

I like this setup though.

This is a lot. I’m trying to reduce my gadgets because I’m seeing them like cuffs, I already don’t have a lot.

reply

My accountant does
