I have been doing this for several years literally. Each time I come across an interesting event/tradition/custom, I record it on my phone. My goal is to enlighten my students every day about something interesting happening beyond the context they are familiar with.
Then, it struck me today that I could actually crowdsource for stuff using this platform. Hence, this post. Thank you for enlightening me in advance. ☺️

13 Oct is National Day of Failure for the Finns. It started in 2010 by some university students because they wanted to encourage more start-ups, given that the typical Finn abhors failure and won’t be inclined towards entrepreneurship

21 Nov is World Hello Day, which aims for us to say hello to at least ten people on that day.
