Since that competition was really a free-for-all with no guidelines in terms of what people could propose (other than that it had to be digitally distributable) I figured "art" would be perhaps the most all-encompassing term for ideas to be submitted :)

The Openn Challange is really good initiative. Not sure why you posted it in ~art, as I assume artists usually are really protective of their pieces. I see ~Photography-ers for example more inclined to join and chip in some pics. Writers of ~BooksAndArticles and ~the_stacker_muse as weel, and don't forget ~devs, that's where the open-source concept has been minted.
