Yeah, the padding, the proportions, the iconography, the font sizes, shadows, borders etc. All feels a bit off. Functionality wise I haven't really tried it recently, but all DEs are pretty good these days, so I'm guessing it's just as good as any other.
Are there specific features that you really like in KDE that are not in GNOME?
