Why are the French rioting in Paris against their debt quagmire? It is not like Paris has any money to give away.

Should not they riot in Brussels (European Commission), Frankfurt (ECB headquarter) or Washington DC (IMF headquarter) who can forgive part of the debt or just bail France out, instead of rioting in Paris? They can hold the threat of Frexit or exiting Eurozone as a hostage until the ECB gives in? What's the point of doing it in Paris apart from damaging the French economy itself (by destruction and lost productivity)?
