Maybe Newsom is laying low so as not to have to answer questions about Mamdani? Democrats seem like a very divided party

I honestly think they are going through what the Republicans went through when Trump one. The difference is they don’t have a leader…. It’s clear Sen. Schumer and Rep. Jeffries are not it… AOC has been sidelined by her own party nationally and the receipts from the “Stop the Oligarchs” tour are damning as hell. Somehow they haven’t managed to allow Gov. Newson to become relevant again!

Since Sept. 10 in DC and What is Going On

> You have seen the Left party begin to fracture for months now over Trump, his policies, and how you treat others. Hopefully the rational ones win out because since 2016 they have thrown gas on a fire and the majority of Americans are even more sick of them then they are of the President.

Is it because the activist base has a firm grip on local elections?  I can't understand why Democrat politicians continue to align themselves with a base that just seems to get crazier and crazier.
