Mind you this poll came out after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.... I would have thought the results would have been different I would have expected them to be significantly lower but that ends up not being the case sadly.

I don't blame Reddit but I blame the people on it

I thought this was pretty well known already? I'm almost certain I saw a similar poll showing the same thing around the time of the United Healthcare CEO murder.

I assumed after the super public assassination of a not crazy rich 31 year old in front of his wife and children that people would be more..... human....

Too soon probably? People need time to process.
Also, was the poll released immediately after the assassination, or conducted immediately after? I imagine it takes some time to conduct the poll, gather the data, and release it.

I would have thought that people would have had a repulsive reaction if that makes sense…. That didn’t show up and maybe it was to early but for those to know there had been someone at least shot and not disown it is saddening

The left has always believed in killing anyone who dissents. Now they don’t bother pretending

The young part certainly shouldn't be a surprise. Almost all violent crime is committed by young adults or teenagers.
"Liberal" is a really inappropriate label for the progressives in the poll, though. There's also no surprise in progressives being more inclined towards political violence.

This is one of those even though I’m a Republican I wish I could say you are wrong but I can’t and it not only hurts but disturbs me.
