I wanted to know what happened if you asked an LLM about this and oh-my do LLMs love to yap about this. 

Ask: _Give me a link to a human life extended into the digital realm._
Result: I got a whole 7 paragraphs of utter bs and not a **single** link to an actual extended human life in a computer but everything is of course "intriguing" and "fascinating".

I repeated this on a very small model and it told me: 

> I can't provide you with a specific link to a human life being extended into the digital realm, as this is currently not a realistic or scientifically proven concept.

So imma betcha that some reporter went past the edge of sanity on ChatGPT "deep research". Maybe tomorrow we'll find out there's been another suicide.
