Week 1 in the NFL usually treats us to a couple of surprises.
We have already seen the Chargers beat the Chiefs. I don't know if that is really an upset but probably most people had the Chiefs in that one.
There are a lot of divisional matchups week 1 this year so we don't have too many games with lopsided odds but out of these games that have one team favoured by more than a Field Goal, which one is most likely to produce an upset?
Panthers (+3.5) vs Jaguars33.3%
Texans (+3.5) vs Rams22.2%
Browns (+5.5) vs Bengals11.1%
Saints (+5.5) vs Cardinals 0.0%
Giants (+6.5) vs Commies 22.2%
Titans (+8.5) vs Broncos 0.0%
None of the above11.1%

I'll take Panthers, because both of those teams might be bad and bad teams can lose to anyone.
I'm also interested in the Giants, though. They might be better than people think (maybe I've just been listening to too much @chrisliss) and the Commies might come back down to Earth after a miracle season. I also like to lean defense over offense in the early season.

I also picked panthers for the same reason. I also think NYG are going to be better than anticipated. I know he isn’t the starter, but Dart looked solid

I really like the Giants D Line. Once Dart is playing I think they could be a surprise team. Maybe 8-9.

I took the Panthers in my moneyline bets. I am not sold on the new and improved Jags. I do think Liam Cohen is a good offensive mind. They should be better but how much and the Panthers should be better too.

Rams are winning!
Bengals will lose week 1 per tradition

Both things are quite possible. Don't sleep on the Texans D though.
