Big Victory for Verstappen!
Verstappen had some tussle early with Lando Norris but held his nerves to win for the ed Bull and for himself.
The Dutchman started from pole and briefly lost the lead after being instructed to yield to Norris following a tight opening-lap fight. But Verstappen regained control on Lap 4 and never looked back, eventually crossing the line 19 seconds clear of the field.
However it's still a far cry to imagine if he can be the F1 champion this year. Norris just came 2nd and Piastri left behind at 3rd but we can reverse these standings for the 2025 winner.
If unthinkable has to happen, Max has to win all of the remaining 8 races and hope Norris and Piastri don't finish in 3 races together.
However a tough ask to choose between Piastri and Norris. Norris has decreased the gap by 3 points in this race and he just requires Piastri to falter in 2 races to come on top.
75% in favour for Piastri looks exaggerated to me on Predyx.
