I think this card is awful. Over time this card will eat you alive in fees. The bitcoin company sells prepaid Visa cards (not reloadable) that give you sats back. Thus the more you need in fiat the more you earn back in sats.
For those who live on zero fiat I can see this card may have some use in your tool kit but I would avoid of trying to rely on this card to meet all of your fiat bills.

If you’re using Google pay or Apple Pay, you are absolutely not anonymous and you might as well be fully KYC’d.
For that reason, I think services like these are actually a lot more dangerous because they give a false sense of security and privacy.

Exactly. Also is a tricky way to ho back to fiat instead of trying to build a bitcoin circular economy.

What's the point of buying a 'fiat debt card' with Bitcoin... and then essentially using a fiat debit card?
The merchant isn't accepting the Bitcoin, they're taking fiat. The idea is to use Bitcoin directly in a way that touches the network where the merchant at least temporarily has the Bitcoin and/or Lightning.

Totally agree. If you’re gonna sell bitcoin, it’s best to sell for cash with other Bitcoiners with good values who are working to build Bitcoin and grow a healthy ecosystem.
You get to offload without loss of privacy to a KYC off-ramp and they get to stack some of the most private sats possible.

It is only a matter of time when any non-KYC card stops working due to regulatory crackdown. Been there with Kazepay's HK Visa. Fortunately, the balance was refunded after two months. Plan accordingly and never keep large balances.
On the other hand, "soft-KYC" Kazepay physical card still works great, with 2% top-up fee. Issuance costed $50 + $40 for UPS postage. "Soft KYC" means they did not verify my address (delivery country was different). Here is an invite link if you want to try.
