What's the most dead time on Stacker.News? Is it Saturday nights? Probably has to do with whether a sportsball game is going on.

Bought my powerball ticket... hoping I don't have to share any of the 1.8 B...

I stared at the screen all day, what did you do today?

reply

Laundry, dishes, then I'll spend the other 90% staring at screens

reply

can't even do laundry or dishes or my gf barks at me something about stealing her only job, she should be in politics

reply

wow, so nice that you have a gf that takes ownership of laundry and dishes haha

reply

I just wanted her to focus more on her studies, she even kicked the cleaning lady that came once a week lol

reply

also I think I need to try the 20/20/20 method for the eyes:
every 20 minutes stare at something 20ft away for 20 seconds.

How do I access the API reference again? I went to https://stacker.news/api/graphql and got

{"errors":[{"message":"This operation has been blocked as a potential Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). Please either specify a 'content-type' header (with a type that is not one of application/x-www-form-urlencoded, multipart/form-data, text/plain) or provide a non-empty value for one of the following headers: x-apollo-operation-name, apollo-require-preflight\n","extensions":{"code":"BAD_REQUEST"}}]}

I don't think it had this behavior before

reply

Yeah, as @k00b mentioned, we had to take it down, sorry for this

You can find all GraphQL type definitions here.

You can make a request with curl like this:

curl -X POST \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"query": "query($id: ID!) { item(id: $id) { id title } }", "variables": { "id": 1 } }' \
  https://stacker.news/api/graphql

Hope this helps!

We had to turn off the playground sadly due to a bug in the library. The best reference atm is the source code

Hello, it's my first day on this platform and I've recently started my Bitcoin journey. Could someone please send me what kind of articles or information I should start exploring to continue delving deeper into the Bitcoin world?

reply

Here's a great, short, video snippet of FA Hayek, that isn't directly about Bitcoin, but very clearly highlights the philosophical roots of Bitcoin:

What are you most excited to learn first?

reply

what is Bitcoin ?and its philosophy in depth.

reply

Bitcoin is money. Which aspects of its philosophy? Technical? Economic? Political?

reply

Honestly, I should learn all its aspects, I know the world of Bitcoin is quite large.

Thank you for such valuable content. I will study it as soon as possible to continue learning about Bitcoin.

If you're starting at absolute zero: https://hellobitco.in/#videos

If you like picking and choosing articles, I'd recommend SNI's crash course: https://nakamotoinstitute.org/crash-course/

If you're willing to read a book, this is my favorite: https://www.lynalden.com/broken-money/

If you're at least technically curious, the white paper is also a good starting point: https://stacker.news/bitcoin.pdf
