Zapped for ~econ content! I haven't been posting much new material other than Stacker News Monthly, and @denlillaapan and @Rothbardian_fanatic have been less active, too. And of course @Undisciplined is on his sports related sidequest, (haha jk you guy are doing a great job with ~Stacker_Sports)
Did you have commentary to add to this piece though?
From the posted summary, I don't see anything too weird. I agree that Trump cannot take credit for anything that comes out of this new data release
I’m really hoping to have more time for ~econ soon. I have three projects in RR right now and a couple others that need me to do some empirical work in order for coauthors to move forward. Perfect storm

Yeah i've been busy with IRL work too. Maybe when we clear our plates we can work on a project studying the economics of internet message boards using SN data

Professional or SN exclusive research?
I think it would be cool to do a series of posts that progress through the stages of producing economic research.

Hopefully, something actually publishable. That would certainly dox us both, though

That's a great idea, I think a lot of people would be interested in that

Yeah, that kind of Stacker News exclusive seemed like a way to pursue some of the random ideas I’ve had that aren’t particularly publishable.

It could be both, start with random explorations, see if anything more well developed emerges

I’m potentially game for that. It’s a departure from anything I’ve worked on before, but I like diving into new things.
