This is an absolutely WILD thing! I mean directly approved by Trump during the time he was trying to bridge the gap between the US and North Korea. The use of Seal Team 6 Red Team and the fact that the Seals had done something similar in 2005 which had never been made public is insane.

While this mission ended in a failure the orders were to abort if they encountered anyone from civilian to security forces so the Seals made the right call. It is interesting to wonder what all North Korea was able to put together given the secrecy and leaving before anyone had the chance to raise the alarm. It is a heck of a story that sounds right out of a Tom Clancy novel!
