The northeast is pretty pink throughout. Guess they don't have friends up there haha

people say buddy and pal???
dude is out, everyone says bro in california...

reply

it's "bruh", not "bro"

reply

Exactly. Its reporting like this that really makes me question the media's accuracy. Could they be wrong on other things as well...

Chief is the worst, no question. Pal is particularly irritating too, and where I'm from in the Northeast it is usually only used right before fists start flying. Trouble is always brewing when Buddy progresses to "Look, Pal."

Do people in the northwest just not have friends?

(Joking aside, one obvious option that won't show up in this binning is referring to people by name)

reply

"Amigo" is my #1 for a couple of years now.

Either you’ve been watching a lot of Spanish/Portuguese movies (‘amigo’ means friend), or you’re in Texas 🤠

reply

SoCal when I developed this. I moved out though, so now everyone just thinks I'm a pendejo lol.

I’m not your bro, buddy. I’m not your buddy, dude. I’m not your dude, fella. I’m not your fella, pal. I’m not your pal, bro.

Brev hasn't reached you yet 🤦‍♂️
