It's funny because there are two sides to this story. one side is an intelligent and informed debate on the effectiveness of spam controls over consensus, the other is tribal, social-media fueled rage.  ermmmm this video clearly represents one side.

This whole thing is a clown show regardless of the technical details or economics. Honestly, the level of maturity in most of the loudest voices hasn't swayed me one way or another. What it has done has marked many bitcoiners as not serious people for me personally.
