Little bit of a back story around Framber.... Astro fans have known for a while now that he is a basket case. When Verlander first left and he became the sole ace he fell apart and you could see on his face he could not take the pressure at all. May through July he was lights out and great. August the wheels started to come off and when that happens it is hard as hell to get them back on with him. Batters in August hit a WILD 298 off him and his ERA was of course over 5.5 so it is easy to see he was not producing and that is with a 7 inning shut out he threw against the Rockies mind you. Oh and he is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season and his rumored asking price is north of $150 million.
The Stros have some injury issues at catcher at the moment as our top two guys are a little beat up but they should be back to full health soon. In the meantime we have our third catch Cesar Salazar up and he has caught for us numerous times over the last two years so players are familiar with him. This situation really sums up what is going on with the Astros right now. We have players just acting unhinged.

Besides all this nonsense can we talk about the year Trent Grisham is having. I am not accusing the guy of anything, I always liked him in SD, but I would not be shocked if he gets popped for PEDs. He doesn't have opposite field power like that and it ain't the first time. He has been crushing the ball all season.

I could also maybe see a vision issue??? Like he can't read the ball outta the hand esp with that breaking ball split….
