Skanska secures $67m contract to construct new substation in US
Swedish construction company Skanska signed a contract with the Trust for Governors Island to construct a new substation on Governors Island, New York City (NYC), US.
The contract, valued at $67m, will be recorded in Skanska’s US order bookings for the third quarter (Q3) of 2025.
The project involves both preconstruction and construction services for a 27kV enclosed substation.
