You can't really argue about music taste! In my opinion, there’s not just one king, once an artist hits a certain level of quality, I call them a king too. Joe Satriani, he's another king!

Agree, it's definitely personal taste.
Satriani is phenomenal. Alexhi Laiho (RIP) is another for me who's up there. Clapton obviously. Steve Vai. Dimebag Darrell. Hendrix, page, van halen. The list really does go on with some true Kings of guitar.

Certainly my favourite, but I think you'd have a few people contesting him being the king.
My other favourite is prince, he was an incredible guitarist, but for me Santana plays a style I really like.
