I haven’t written a line of code in two weeks. Feels wrong but I feel it's the right decision.
I stopped coding because I’m chasing something harder to capture: virality. The feeling a product gives you when it just clicks. The spark that makes people care enough to share it.
I’ve built a number of apps before, and as a builder the instinct is always to build. But releasing into the void doesn’t work—you have to know who your customer is, talk with them, understand their needs, grow your community of superfans, and continually launch.
Right now my focus is on creating community, energy, demand. This is a marathon, and I’ll be throwing a lot of darts at the board to see what sticks.
I spend a lot of time observing the space, studying the why and how behind the way people use adjacent products. I’m digging into case studies of viral moments—Pokémon cards, the ICO wave of 2017. Not drawing conclusions yet, just staying curious.
