More of this from the left please. Lets make Bitcoin neutral technology again.
reply
I'm very far left but i recognize bitcoin for what it is... neutral technology. AMA

Why aren't more people on the left willing to study bitcoin and evaluate it on its merits?
reply
I don't know.
Bitcoin is some kind of ego test... and/or test in risk-management and not everyone passes the first time.
reply
good question, may be they are not aware WHAT IS REALLY BITCOIN...

That is my 'good deed' my contribution.
"In fact, Bitcoin is the only technology where a hard-working young professional from Yangon or Vientiane can stand equal with a hedge fund manager from Wall St."
This (the linked article) is a brilliant post.

How does the government help people?
reply
left or right does it exist.....again..

Political Left = more centralized control and larger State government.
Bitcoin radically decentralizes control over money, which is inherently “anti-centralization” as a political force.
Social culture issues are irrelevant to the government, except that they are useful to distract and subdue the population.
The social culture ideas that make you think you are “on the left” -things like lawful equality, bodily autonomy, collective bargaining, etc- are all fully represented by radical anarchy and complete dissolution of the state.
The STATE is used by people “on the left” and “on the right” to violate those Rights and wield the monopoly on violence for personal gain. There is no benefit to society provided by the State. It is a force for evil.

Let slaves fight for their owners. Bitcoin is for sovereign individuals.

Slaves can hold bitcoin for a period of time until they exchange it for their owners' fiat. They call it a "store of value."

“You got your Green Card under the Biden administration, so stop doing this Bitcoin s*it. It’s for Trump supporters. You’re forgetting where you came from.” Those words stung me during the recent election. An attack – boxing my immigrant identity into a political corner I didn’t choose.
In my own personal experience at Georgetown University, professors and fellow students scoffed when I spoke of Bitcoin. Some were quick to label me a Trump supporter and called an immigrant racist, dismissing my voice and my argument. Their speeches often cite diversity, equity, and inclusion, acting morally and intellectually superior as if they are the only centralized source of truth.
I wonder why the author still considers himself progressive. The typical progressive just seems like a horrible narrow-minded person.
