Mostly a down day, playing video games and eating pizza. I did however try hanging after discussing it with @Kontext. My hands and shoulders immediately hated it and I barely lasted any time at all, which tells me this is a good exercise to work on.
How'd you do today? Is there anything new you're adding to your routine?
Just completed my final run of this month and had my shower. Will pour myself a little bit of Taiwanese whisky and sip it while I write the monthly running recap.
2km walk with wife this morning and 12km run at night. 25106 steps.
How's the runstr contest going?
I gave a brief update on my monthly running post. #1201997
Basically, I'm still on top, for now. Yet, now I have not only johnny to worry about, but steven is also coming in hot. My wife still thinks I'm equally crazy and stupid to run so much for a 30k sat prize on a 10k sat buy-in contest. I continue to explain to her that it's not about the sats, but about bragging rights.
BEST RUNNER IN BITCOIN!!!
You can't surrender that belt without a fight
I'm going to stay humble on this one and say I'm not the best runner in bitcoin. I'm thinking the best runner in bitcoin is probably @BitcoinIsTheFuture. At least he's he best runner I've seen in bitcoin so far. I'm just glad he either didn't find out about the Runstr contest or didn't care to join. Probably would not be on top of the standings if he was in the contest.
lol oh man I mussed a running contest? Ben focused o our home remodel, but cranking out 40+ mille weeks
Haven't done much today yet aside from a morning set of pushups (it's already Monday afternoon here in Estonia)... otherwise keeping up the 120+ pushups/day routine, some yoga every day, some walking every day. Will try to get back into doing short daily runs as well. Participated in a local sports event this weekend, got 2nd place in men's hanging (2 min 15 sec) and, as I had time to kill, I also went and did a 60m run in which I surprisingly got 1st place (with a 8.96 sec time)ðŸ¤
That's awesome! Maybe you missed your calling as a sprinter.
Haha, maybe. But maybe there just weren't that many great sprinters participating... I mean, when I finished the run they did tell me some veterans did it under 8 sec... so perhaps the better sprinters were already in the veterans' class and men's class was left more or less uncontended :) In any case, was a cool surprise :)
Way to show up bro
It happens ðŸ¤
Can barely walk today but it was worth it LOL
I run in barefoot shoes so every step is basically on my toes so my feet and calf muscles are very strong but super sore today. Give me another day or two with plenty of rest and high protein and I'll grow back even stronger and more aesthetic.
Really impressive
Your daily accountability threads are impressive.
Keep showing up and inspiring others.
Thanks! That's the hope
Not a bad day. Not a ton of exercise but got a lot of steps in and ate healthy with no sweets.
That sounds pretty close to what I'm shooting for.
