It's been 5 years and I don't remember going a week without a cup coffee.
Now I'm averaging 2-3 cups a day and I can feel the effects. And I know there's more my body won't just tell me yet!
While I love that it makes me sharper and gives me a mood boost in the morning, I miss the caffience-free calm and centeredness.
I know this is going to a tough battle considering that coffee in now part of my identity yet at the same time I'm excited to see what's on the other side of "sobriety".
To other caffeine-heads out there, maybe it's time to consider you'll be a much better person without coffee?

I think it really depends on each person. Some become calmer and more centered without coffee, others find balance in moderation. What matters most is listening to your own body and noticing how it truly feels.

It could use the calm.
