Hello fellow Bitcoiners,

I’ve orange pilled several people lately, at the moment they have their stack on Strike… but now I want to introduce them to self custody.
Tresor has their model One on sale for about €/$25.
My question is, is the Model One is still a valid opinion for beginners with a small or moderate stack? (Software Updates, Security, etc …)

Thank you in advance for your advice and feedback.

I'm partial to the bitkey, once they understand bitcoin a bit more and go down the rabbit hole, i'd graduate them to something like jade or Cold Card

Yes. Tapsigner is also good for a beginner.

That was my second choice. I think I will go with the Trezor

Trezor is NOT a wallet. Is just a keychain. Just selling the illusion of security.... nothing else.
I consider ALL hardware "wallets" just marketing toys.
I use it in the past but I gave it away to noobs. It is totally useless for me.

What do you use and what would you recommend?
