It's amazing how much English is now used in German - much more than 20 years ago.
Are the French still holding on to the mouthful courrier electronique or have they capitulated to email yet?
I spent some time in Latin America working in IT of a US company, and its funny what technical words would get translated and which not....motherboard many times stays in english, but "hard drive" is often disco duro....which I think because disco duro is actually easier to say, it rolls off the tongue
