I'd like to put out my book Bitcoin, Hands-On in other languages.
Any thoughts on what the best translation tools would be? I've used Google Translate a bit, it's always seemed very decent. I've also used Deepl.
And straight AI tools (I'm mostly using Gemini nowadays) seem like a good option.
Anyone have feedback on these?
Also, what would be the languages to translate into? I'm thinking a Spanish translation first.

Do you like this better than, say, Gemini? I did a comparison between Gemini and Google Translate, Gemini seemed better.
didn't use gemini and don't plan to
I just did a test of one chapter, in Gemini vs Google translate. I translated into German, which I have some understanding of.
Initial thoughts - Gemini is better. It keeps some of the phrases (like self-custody) in English, which is better (Google Translate does not).
It's amazing how much English is currently used in German - much more than 20 years ago. Sometimes it seems like a good chunk of the words are in English.
I will try this in DeepL as well.
Are the French still holding on to the mouthful courrier electronique or have they capitulated to email yet?
I spent some time in Latin America working in IT of a US company, and its funny what technical words would get translated and which not....motherboard many times stays in english, but "hard drive" is often disco duro....which I think because disco duro is actually easier to say, it rolls off the tongue
