perhaps. here's a possible scenario. a big established player embeds sats into its ux in a simple and intuitive way. e.g. the ad-supported version of Nextflix introduces sats  to encourage usage of its platform. 1 sat earned per minute of viewing programmes. 2 sats earned per advert. sats can be spent to fund a new series of a popular programme. sats can be sent directly to actors, writers, technicians. 

if this works well then other platforms may replicate.
