I don't own Monero or plan to own any, but I think it's a pretty cool tool for Bitcoiners to anonymize themselves if they need to. There's a lot of FUD slung in both directions, but I am glad Monero exists.
It is: A) a sincere project, not a scam, and 2) does things a bit differently than Bitcoin. Whether Monero gains long term success vs. Bitcoin will help us determine whether our theses are right or wrong.
